At The Lone Ranger Cat Rescue, we shelter and nurture homeless cats, helping them find loving homes and promoting kind care.

Unless otherwise noted, all cats are mixed-breed domestic long- or short-hairs. Bonded cats need to be adopted together. Free Agents are cats that aren’t bonded with anyone specific, but who need another cat to play with. They can go to a home that already has another cat, or be adopted with a buddy. Single cats need to be the only cat in the home. Single+ cats can be the only cat in the home, but they would also be okay with a buddy. Kittens (under 9 months) must be adopted with another kitten or into a home that has a resident cat no more than 2 years old.

Cat Rescue

We provide safe shelter and medical care for homeless cats in need. Our cats are rescued primarily from Kuwait and Egypt, with some additional cats rescued from within the US, specifically Delaware and Pennsylvania.

I adopted my two lady British Shorthairs (Bean & Squashi) from the Lone Ranger Cat Rescue after I met them at Patriots Pawsabilities in Virginia. The adoption process was very easy-I submitted an application and then spoke w/ Rochelle who let me know all about the history and background of Squashi & Bean. I paid through Venmo and then made an appointment to pick them up back at Patriots Pawsabilities. Squashi and Bean have been lovely and really add a lot of life to my home--they are playful and sweet and make me very happy. I'm grateful that Lone Ranger Cat Rescue exists to provide this much needed service to cats in need.

We recently adopted a male Persian from this organization, and highly recommend them. They were very open about the cats that were available and assisted us with finding the perfect fit. After discussing what we were looking for to fit with our current cats, Rochelle suggested Romeo. We arranged a time to meet him and brought him home. I can honestly say he fit in perfectly with our other cats and was the easiest transition into our family. We highly recommend this organization. They are honest about the cats in their care and work with you to get the right fit. Wonderful experience all around and we gained a new cat that fits in perfectly with his brothers and sister.
