Our Foster Cats

Snapshots of our cats available for adoption and their forever homes.

Please check back frequently to see our new cats.

We use some abbreviations in our descriptions of the cats, and this is the key:

• BSH / BLH: British Shorthair / British Longhair

• DSH / DMH / DLH: Domestic Shorthair / Domestic Mediumhair / Domestic Longhair

• FiV/FeLV: Feline Immune Virus/Feline Lukemia Virus

We give each of our cats an adoption category as follows:

• Single: Single cats need to be the only cat in the home.

• Single+: Single+ cats can be the only cat in the home, but they would also be okay with a buddy.

• Free Agent: Free Agent cats are not bonded with anyone, but do need another cat to play with. They can go to a home that already has another cat, or be adopted with a buddy from the lounge.

• Bonded: Bonded cats must be adopted together with their bonded partner.

• New Arrival: This cat hasn’t been with our rescue long enough for us to determine which environment would be best for them.

• Kitten: Kittens are considered to be any cat under 9 months old. Kittens must be adopted with, or into a home with, another kitten or young cat under the age of two years old.

Tommy

Single | Male | Orange & White Domestic Long Hair

Tommy is 3 years old and was rescued in Egypt. Tommy would do best in a calm and quiet home by himself. Once settled, his loyal and affectionate nature will come out.

Vanilla

New Arrival | Female | Himalayan

Vanilla was rescued in Kuwait. Vanilla is 2 years old (DOB January 2024), fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, spayed, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Monty

Single+ | Male | Brown tabby

Monty is a chill individual who co-exists well with the other cats, but particularly with his brother, Tex. He can be shy, but with time and the right human friend, he’ll be a big lovebug.

Tex

Single+ | Male | Brown tabby

Tex's pregnant mother was rescued from Texas, before giving birth to Tex and Monty in Delaware. He puts the Tex in texture because his fur is sooo soft. He likes to take a break from cuddling Monty to come and meet everyone in the main lounge every day! Playful and affectionate - what’s not to love?!

Lily

Single+ | Female | White Ragdoll mix

Lily is 4 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, microchipped, and litter box trained. Lily can be defensive around other cats, but she has shown she can live with other resident cats. Lily would do best in a quiet home, with a patient adopter. Once this little lady feels safe, she will show her sweet-natured side.

Eclipse

Single+ | Female | Cinnamon Torti BSH

Eclipse was rescued in Georgia in December 2025. Eclipse is 6 1/2 years old (DOB: Aug 19), fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, spayed, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Bathsheba - Pending adoption once she has finished raising her two kittens

Single + | Female | Black & White BLH

Bathsheba was rescued in Georgia in December 2025. Bathsheba is 2 1/2 years old (DOB Sep 23), fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, spayed, microchipped, and litter box trained. She gave birth to two kittens very soon after being rescued.

Morticia Mousse

Bonded Kitten | Female | Chocolate & White BLH

Born 21 Dec 25 to Bathsheba. Poor Mousse is suffering from a congenital issue that makes it difficult for her to eat her food. We are working hard to turn her around and allow her to gain weight.

Princess

Princess is 1 year old, spayed, fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, microchipped, and litter box trained. Princess is a friendly girl that gets alongwell with other cats. She has the most beautiful green eyes and is playful and goofy at times. Readily comes up to people for attention.

Leo

Single+ | Male | Highland Fold

Leo was rescued in Kuwait in January 2026. Leo is one year old, fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, neutered, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Francesco - Pending Adoption!

Single+ | Male | British Shorthair

Francesco was rescued in Kuwait in January 2026. Francesco is about 18 months old, fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, neutered, microchipped, and litter box trained. He has fur the color of toasted marshmallow.

Bella

Single+ | Female | DMH

Bella was rescued in Kuwait in January 2026. Bella is estimated to be one year old, fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, spayed, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Zizi

Kitten | Female | DSH

Zizi was rescued in Kuwait in January 2026 and is the daughter of Fola. Zizi is 7 months old (DOB: Aug 25), fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, spayed, microchipped, and litter box trained.

FAQs

How do I adopt?

The adoption process follows these steps:

• Fill out our adoption form (see link below).

• Arrange for an interview with the Rescue by telephone.

• Pay the adoption fee by Venmo, PayPal or check (payable to The Lone Ranger Cat Rescue)

• Arrange a date to collect your new fur-baby.

• Collect your new fur-baby on the agreed date.

Are cats vaccinated?

Yes, all cats are vaccinated and spayed or neutered before adoption.

Can I return a cat if needed?

Absolutely, we want every cat to have a safe home and will take them back anytime.

Do you charge adoption fees?

Yes, fees help cover medical care and shelter costs.

How do you select adopters?

We ask questions to ensure cats go to caring and responsible homes.

I have adopted a cat, what do I need to bring when I collect them to take them home?

Adopters are strongly encouraged to bring a hard-sided carrier, not a soft fabric carrier. Hard carriers are easier to shepherd timid cats into, and they provide greater protection to a cat when placed in a car.
